Site Plot

Where we start off..

Out of Character:

• No posting images or links to porn or dirty images, failure to comply to this rule will result in a ban for life from the board.
• Admins reserve the right to change the rules written here at any time, and members will be notified and are expected to comply with any new rules within 48 hours of any change or addition.
• You can create as many characters as you like, but please only create one account for all of your characters.
• Be polite to others and do not start fights for no reason.
• No fighting on the OOC boards or in character
• If you have a problem with another member you can contact an admin at any time
• Due to some concerns regarding spelling please make use of the spell check button located on the reply screens. (Not available on the quick reply function of the threads.)

Images:

• All images that are used on site need to have the proper credits attached to them to recognize the owner of the original image
  
• Images should not just be copied and pasted as that violates the terms of use for many artists that state that the image must not be used without some sort of modification/manipulation being done to it. Proboards has a policy on this as well so please make sure to properly use credits where necessary.
  
• If there are no credits attached to the image stating the creator then the image can be deemed as stolen artwork and removed from the board without notice.

In Character:

• Your character does have to be accepted before you may start playing
• Please try to use good grammar and spelling in your character posts, no using chat-speak (r, u, etc.)
• if you wish to say something out of character put occ: and then the message


Lands:
• Players are allowed to only role-play one king
• The lead stallion can choose a lead mare and replace her at any time.
• Leads have the right to kick out or bring anyone into their lands.
• If you are the lead of a land you can edit your hierarchy and label your members anyway you wish.
• if a land is inactive for two weeks it will be put up for claim.


Stallions:
• can only claim mares if they live in a land or own a land of their own.
• can challenge any stallion for land or for a mare.
• can try and steal mares from other stallions
• can bred at the age of three.


Mares:
• can start breeding and having foals at the age of three.
• can try and steal foals from other mares or challenge a mare for a foal.
• can leave their home at any time for any reason.

Claiming:

• Breeding is only allowed during certain seasons of the year
• In order for the breeding to be successful both players must individually post the mare/stallion id stats in the appropriate location
• Foal stats will be given to you by admin/mods when all your information is posted under the procreate board.
• Once a mare has given birth she may not conceive again until the next breeding season. (If she foals in Spring she cannot get pregnant again until fall that year)

Breeding:

• Claiming may only be done if there is currently no other claim on the land by any other players/characters
• Please make a new thread in the land you wish to claim. Name the thread as you wish but put [Claim] beside the thread name to state your intention.
• Once you have made the claim you now have control over the land, you may not claim more then one area per player. This just ensures everyone can have a chance to create their own herds.

RULES:

• Anyone can make a claim as long as they are an adult character, no foals are able to claim
• Mares may claim lands but if a stallion should come along later and wish to claim they will over rule the previous claim by the mare.
• The stallion has the authority to strip or assign positions within their herd.
• In order to stay in control of a land the stallion must be as active as possible. You can do this by interacting with other herd members and even in other lands while you search for new members.
• If the player of the lead stallion becomes inactive then their position will be stripped and the land will go back for claim.
• Please make sure to keep your lands active by at least making a post in your home lands at least once per week to show your activity

Inactive= 2 full weeks without an in character post with the exception of if valid reason's for inactivity is given prior to no activity. (Vacations, school, no internet access for brief time.)

Challenges:

• In order to challenge for a land that is already claimed by another stallion you must initiate a thread.
• Make a thread in the board for the herd you are interested in claiming, titling it how you wish and place [Challenge] beside the title.
• It is the responsibility for the lead stallion to respond to the challenge in a timely manner.
• In the responding post the defender will set the rules for the challenge as to how many dodges/attacks will be allowed per post. They may also set how many posts will be allowed until the finish. MAX of 15 posts per challenge.
• Each participant in the challenge has 48 hours to reply to the responses, if they do not then the challenge is forfeited and the remaining player wins by default.
* Ensure that there is no god playing. Meaning that you may not describe the actual wounds that the other contender suffers. You may describe the process of the attack but you cannot follow through with the action to describe the result.
•• Please ensure fairness in the match, no horse is immune to all attacks so there is to be no constant dodges so that one player never sustains injury.

When the challenge is finished, admin will decide on the result of the winner. Each participant will be judged seperately based on:
Spelling (10)
Grammer (10)
Detail (10)
Realism (10)
Overall quality of posts (length, flow, sentence structure) (10)

/50 points total


The winner of the challenge will claim leadership of the herd and may decide on the outcome of the battle. IE if the loser stays as a subordinate member or if they are banished. They may also change the rankings within the herd.

• Once a challenge is completed the land is immune to any other attacks for a full month (real life).
